90 Years

Anniversary 1934-2024

The 90th commemorative events of the Minneapolis Truckers’ Strike of 1934 were held in the Twin Cities from May-July, 2024. These include exhibitions, film screenings, music, a bike tour, a memorial and a picnic gathering.

A bicycle tour of 1934 strike sites

The 90-minute easy-paced tour will begin at 3 p.m. at 1900 Chicago Ave. S., the site of a strike headquarters, and end at the site of the plaque in the North Loop. The event is a fundraiser for Socialist Alternative. July 28th
